Muscle Strain
(Also known as: Muscle strain or muscle pull)

What to do: If you have a muscle strain, it's essential to take immediate steps to facilitate healing. First, rest the affected muscle to prevent further damage, avoiding activities that may exacerbate the strain. Applying ice to the strained muscle for about 15-20 minutes at a time can help reduce swelling, and wrapping the area with a compression bandage provides support. Additionally, keep the injured muscle elevated when possible. If the strain is severe or persistent, consult with a healthcare professional for proper evaluation and guidance on recovery measures.
